Ph.D. in Food Engineering from the University of Campinas (São Paulo, Brazil). Her experience includes process engineering, unit operations, and transport phenomena besides the analysis and chemistry of food. During her career, she has worked with vegetable oils, biodiesel, palm oil, oil from yeast cultures, heterogeneous catalysts, ion exchange resin, chromatography, infrared spectroscopy, enzymatic liquefaction, food rheological properties, and others. Her background includes different universities in Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, and Italy.
